Pride Made in Marche
What could be better than receiving an award for creating numerous job opportunities and contributing to the economic growth of one's own region? For an entrepreneur, it is perhaps one of the greatest satisfactions.
And such recognition recently fell to Lanfranco Beleggia, President and founder of Bros Manifatture, who received the “Picus del Ver Sacrum 2022 - Marchigiani dell'Anno” award (Woodpecker of the Holy Spring– Marche Man of the Year) in the Capitular Hall of the Senate of the Republic.
Bros Manifatture started off as a company specializing in the production of watch straps and, over the years, it has evolved to become the “parent company” of its own all very successful companies.
In addition to Bros watch straps, the company now includes Pianegonda, Rosato, Brosway, S'Agapõ and Dhiva jewelry cases, creating a unique jewelry pole in the Marche region and elsewhere. There was, however, another reason behind the award: the interest that Lanfranco Beleggia has always shown in recovering the territory's cultural heritage through restoration work on historic residences and prestigious buildings from which Bros Hospitality, yet another entrepreneurial branch, arose.
It includes facilities with considerable personality, such as Villa Lattanzi, Officina del Sole, Palazzo Alaleona and San Paolo Hotel.
And that’s not all. This type of activity, which also aims at developing tourism, has always been accompanied by solidarity initiatives centred on art, sport and culture, in collaboration with charity and culture associations in the Marche region, nationally and internationally.
At the end of the ceremony, the award-winning entrepreneur said: «Listening to everything that has been said about me has been very touching. I have dedicated almost my entire life to my work and that is why you are awarding me today. But I believe I should share this award with all my collaborators who have given me the chance to get this far and to obtain this recognition of which I am extremely proud.»
