Shape, Beauty and Movement for Giovanni Raspini's New Collection

Shape, Beauty and Movement for Giovanni Raspini's New Collection

With the new Spring/Summer 2021 collection, Giovanni Raspini further develops the creative style of the brand, in a path that wants to make traditional inspiration dialogue figurative naturalistic with the essentiality of the contemporary sign.

Five main collections for next season: Skin, Fili, Sicily, Petra, Cocodrile, Charms. Skin is certainly the iconic collection of the new concept of the brand which takes inspiration from one of the creations linked to the exhibition of unique pieces "Jewels from a Wunderkammer", the Skull of Fox necklace.

Created by Giovanni Raspini to express the textures of the animalier world in an original way, the line tells, through contemporary jewelery, how shapes take on movement and can repeat themselves in a graphic pattern. Made of burnished silver, Skin is available in two necklaces, two bracelets, two rings and two earrings. Always created in lost-wax casting, with accentuated burnishing, the Fili collection imagines the volumes of a silver thread that wraps around an object, with an important enhancement of movement and an impact light-dark effect.

Then there is Sicily, a collection that combines the beauty of burnished silver micro-sculpture with the elegance of freshwater pearls, with a wealth of typically summery signs, alternating pearls with fusions of shells, sea urchins, starfish and luminous spheres. With Petra, on the other hand, Giovanni Raspini develops already shared lines, in a sort of completion of the textures already part of the brand.

The collection comes in a silver version with a pendant, a ring, an earring and a bangle, and a gilded silver version, with an earring and bangle. Crocodile also takes inspiration from the previous Moon Crocodile collection, developing the reptile texture on a modular silver "crescent" element, to facilitate wearability and lightness.

Crocodile also features a silver version and a gilded silver version. Finally Giovanni Raspini presents a new set of Charms, with many new animalier subjects, made using extremely realistic micro-sculptures of animals, and the Aprimi series, with engineered charms that open creating movement and surprise. Finally, the Charms line is completed with six charms that tell the Dollars of the Middle Ages, or the most important coins of ancient trade. An enrichment of Giovanni Raspini's precious world which increasingly highlights its Italian character.
