For over 45 years, Italimpianti Orafi has been designing and building systems for machining precious and non-ferrous metals, with a particular focus on gold, silver, platinum, palladium, rhodium and copper. These systems involve chemical and electrolytic processing, traditional casting, continuous casting, and precision casting, for the production of ingots, shot, and atomised metal powder, but also gas rotary kilns to treat ash from gold/silver refinement processes and goldsmithing, the treatment of sludge containing precious metals, and much, much more.

The company also offers full engineering services for turn-key plants to treat E-waste and industrial waste, including the know how for each production process, with installation, training and dedicated after-sale services. Its most outstanding is T-Line, created in conjunction with Tera Automation, the world’s first completely automated line to produce precious metal ingots, ready for sale.
